Accepting these terms

These terms apply when you use this website or ask Performance Bell Spray Foam Insulation for an estimate or for work on your property. By using the site or booking with us, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Throughout this page, "we," "us" and "our" mean Performance Bell Spray Foam Insulation, and "you" means the person using the site or hiring us.

The services we offer

We're an insulation contractor in Bell, CA, and we work on homes and commercial buildings in Bell and the cities around it. Our work includes spray foam, blown-in insulation, insulation removal, air sealing and vapor barriers. The home page lists every service we offer, and our About page explains who we are.

What the site says about our services is general information. The scope of your job is set by the written estimate or agreement we give you, because every attic, wall and crawl space is different.

Estimates and pricing

Our on-site estimates are free, and you're under no obligation to hire us. An estimate is based on what we can see and measure at the visit, and it's good for the period written on it.

Some conditions only show up once the work starts, such as wet or damaged old insulation, pest droppings or hidden framing problems. If we find something that changes the scope or the cost, we'll stop and talk with you first, and we won't do extra work you haven't approved.

Scheduling and cancellation

We'll agree on a start date with you and do our best to keep it. Weather, material delays, permit timing or conditions at the property can move the schedule, and if that happens we'll let you know as soon as we can.

Some jobs, such as spray foam, mean you and your family have to stay out of the work area for a while. We'll tell you before the job when you'll need to be out and when it's safe to come back, and you agree to follow those instructions.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call us as early as you can. If we've already ordered special materials or started work, you may owe for the materials and labor up to that point, as written in your agreement. Any cancellation rights you have under California law still apply.

Payment

Payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due, are written in your estimate or agreement. Please pay on the dates listed there.

If a payment is late, we may pause work until the account is current. Where the law allows, we may also add late fees or recover collection costs.

Our work and what we stand behind

We're licensed and insured, and we want you satisfied with the job. If something isn't right after we finish, call us and we'll come back to look at it.

Any warranty on our work is the one written in your agreement. Materials carry their maker's warranty, which we'll pass along to you. Apart from those written warranties, and to the extent the law allows, we don't make other promises about results, such as how much your power bill will drop, because that depends on things outside our work, like your HVAC system, windows and how the house is used.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, Performance Bell Spray Foam Insulation isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost use of a room or lost income, that come from our services or from using this website. Our total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job.

Nothing here limits liability that California law doesn't allow us to limit, such as for our own gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Using this website

The content on this site is for general information and may change without notice. We try to keep it accurate, but we don't promise it's complete or current, so please confirm anything important with us before you rely on it.

The text, photos and design on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without our written OK.

Resolving disagreements

If you're unhappy with anything, please call us first at (213) 329-1866 or reach us through our contact page. Most problems get sorted out quickly with a conversation and a visit.

If we can't settle it that way, we both agree to try mediation in good faith before going to court, unless your agreement says otherwise. Either of us can still bring a claim in small claims court where it qualifies.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any court case will be handled in the courts of Los Angeles County, California, unless the law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted here is the one that applies. Changes won't affect a job already covered by a signed agreement unless we both agree in writing.

If you have a question about these terms, call us at (213) 329-1866 or use our contact page.
